Due in early Q2, MySpace is planning to roll out a news service to complement its site.
Myspace News plans to aggregate real-time news and blogs from popular sites across the globe, according to Terry Heaton's blog.
Users can rate news and also submit stories, and the news will then be delivered right to the MySpace site.
The new MySpace rollout comes at a time when many media companies like USA Today and NBC are busy trying to create more interactive online experiences for their users.
With MySpace in the picture, media companies are even more frantic to hold onto users, and rightfully so, given MySpace's iron grip on the youth demographic.
